JETOUR launches a dedicated SUV range in Romania
JETOUR, a brand that has seen remarkable success globally, has officially entered the Romanian market, becoming the second JETOUR market in the European Union after Poland. This entry marks a significant step in JETOUR's expansion, aiming to build brand recognition in Romania.
The company debuted in Romania with an exclusive range of four SUV models: the compact X50, the family-friendly X70 Plus, the tech-focused Dashing, and the adventure-ready T2. Each model brings unique features and specifications, catering to a diverse audience.
The X50, measuring approximately 4.4 meters in length, offers five seats and a spacious trunk with nearly 400 liters of capacity. Its 1.5 Turbo engine produces up to 156 HP, paired with a 6DCT automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the X70 Plus, designed for families with its seven-seat configuration, boasts an impressive wheelbase of 2,720 mm and is equipped with over ten advanced driver assistance systems.
The Dashing model emphasizes design and technology, featuring heated and ventilated seats, an electric tailgate, and engine options of 1.5 and 1.6 liters, delivering up to 190 HP. The T2 is particularly geared towards adventure enthusiasts, equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine that develops 245 HP and includes an intelligent all-wheel drive system.
To support its presence in Romania, JETOUR has established an initial network of 10 authorized sales and service locations throughout the country, with plans to expand to 13-15 points by the end of 2026. Notable dealers include Neortic Motors and DAB Auto in Bucharest, Euro-Motor in Brașov, and Car District in Timișoara.
JETOUR's global reach extends to over 100 countries and regions, with cumulative sales surpassing 2.5 million vehicles by the end of August 2026. The T2 series alone has sold over 570,000 units worldwide.
In Romania, the SUV market is thriving, with SUVs representing 54.6% of total new car registrations in July 2026, a 60.7% increase compared to July 2025. JETOUR aims to capitalize on this trend, offering a 7-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty on all vehicles sold in the country.
With competitive pricing starting at 23,290 euros for the Dashing and 39,900 euros for the T2, JETOUR is poised to make a significant impact on the Romanian automotive landscape, supported by a robust dealer network and a commitment to quality and service.
