Over 130,000 people have already signed up for 'Let's Do It, România!' in the lead-up to the national clean-up day scheduled for September 19, 2026. With a goal of reaching 300,000 participants, the organizers are gearing up for an ambitious event that promises to unite communities across the country.

The 2026 clean-up day will see Romania join approximately 190 countries in a global effort to clean up public spaces. Last year, the initiative saw over 270,000 volunteers collect nearly 430,000 bags of waste in just one day, showcasing the tremendous impact of collective action.

The theme for the 2026 edition is 'What do you leave behind?', encouraging participants to reflect on their environmental footprint. As the event approaches, the enthusiasm of the Romanian public is palpable, signaling a strong commitment to making a positive change for the environment.
