A new book on the history of Turks and Tatars in Romania to be launched at national historians' congress

The highly anticipated volume "Turcii și tătarii din România. O scurtă istorie" by Metin Omer will make its debut on September 11. This marks a significant moment as it introduces the public to a new title in the Corint Istorie – Autori Români collection.

The book launch will take place at 2:00 PM in the marble hall of the Faculty of History, coinciding with the National Congress of Romanian Historians. This congress is expected to bring together over 350 historians and researchers from Romania, the Republic of Moldova, and abroad, fostering rich discussions and exchanges.
