24 Sep 2026, 13:06

BBDO is making a significant comeback in Romania, marking its return to the market after a seven-year absence. This new chapter follows the conclusion of its partnership with Graffiti, the pioneering advertising agency established in Romania after the Revolution.

The American group Omnicom Advertising has announced the launch of BBDO România, an integrated communication agency that aims to bring together a diverse range of services. BBDO România will offer creative solutions, strategy development, digital communication, artificial intelligence, data-driven marketing, e-commerce, and corporate communication all under one roof.

This initiative stems from the expanded partnership between Omnicom and The Group, which is a key player in the advertising landscape. Established in 2005 by Zoltan Szigeti, The Group has grown to employ around 400 staff and manages over 300 brands, achieving a turnover exceeding 230 million euros in 2025.

BBDO is one of the largest advertising and communication networks globally, with a presence in more than 50 countries. The new Romanian agency will be led by Roxana Memetea, with a talented team including Roxana Niță as Chief Creative Officer, Roxana Țâmpău as Chief Client & Business Officer, Luciana Cucoaneș as Chief Strategy & Insights Officer, Simina Dima as Chief Growth & Integration Officer, Iulian Vegheș as Chief AI, Data & Technology Officer, and Sorina Mihai as Chief of Corporate Communication.

The newly structured agency aims to integrate creative services, strategy, technology, and data analysis into a cohesive working model, setting a promising future for BBDO România.
