Daniel Bîrligea's Opportunity Grows with Antonio Raimondo's Departure

On the day Romania faced Bosnia, Daniel Bîrligea received significant news from Italy: Antonio Raimondo, his rival at Frosinone, has become unavailable. This unexpected turn of events opens the door for Bîrligea to step up, as Raimondo has been one of Serie A's standout attackers, scoring four goals in just five matches this season.

Raimondo's absence follows an announcement from the Italian Football Federation that he left the U21 national team's training camp, which is currently preparing for matches against Armenia and Poland in the EURO 2027 qualifiers.
