Denis Drăguș in Talks to Join FCSB Amid Contract Negotiations with Trabzonspor
Denis Drăguș, a 27-year-old footballer currently in Romania, is actively negotiating the termination of his contract with Trabzonspor, which is set to expire in 2028. Drăguș is seeking a salary of 3 million euros for two years but has received a much lower offer of only 600,000 euros from Trabzonspor.
In a twist of fate, Gigi Becali, the prominent figure at FCSB, has expressed his desire to bring Drăguș to the club. He is willing to pay a salary of 1 million euros per season and has announced that he would pay 1 million euros for Drăguș's transfer. However, if the contract negotiations with Trabzonspor do not yield results, FCSB is considering a loan option, which would involve covering half of Drăguș's salary, amounting to 750,000 euros for one season.
Drăguș has recently turned down two offers from Gulf countries, indicating his intention to stay closer to home and possibly join FCSB. This comes after Gigi Becali made comments about fairness in player transfers, stating he cannot take players without providing something in return. He referenced previous transfers, including a 1.5 million euro loan for Bîrligea and a 3 million euro payment for Olaru, to illustrate his investment in the team.
Despite FCSB's recent loss to UTA Arad, which ended 1-3, the interest in Drăguș remains strong. As negotiations continue, fans are hopeful that a resolution will pave the way for Drăguș to don the FCSB jersey. He is married to Vanessa, and the couple may soon have exciting changes ahead as they navigate this chapter in his football career.
