FCSB Welcomes Young Brazilian Talent Matheus Diniz

At just 15 years old, Matheus Benjamin Diniz Paixao is making his mark in Romanian football as he joins FCSB, a club he describes as 'the biggest team in Romania.' Having been signed during the summer of 2023, Matheus is set to wear the prestigious number 10 jersey.

Born in Belgium, Matheus has already demonstrated his skills by playing for the U16 team of FC Voluntari last season. Prior to that, he showcased his talent at LPS 'Iolanda Balaș Soter' in Buzău. With his 16th birthday approaching in December 2023, Matheus is eager to embrace the challenges of playing at a higher level.

Expressing his aspirations, Matheus said, 'To reach the first team would be a dream.' He is aware of the intense pace of football in Romania, noting, 'In Romania, we run a lot.' While he admits that Brazilian players are not accustomed to such demands, he is determined to adapt and succeed in his new environment.
