Gala Green Report 2026 invites impactful projects for recognition in sustainability

The Gala Green Report 2026 is now open for project submissions until the end of October. This sixth edition of the competition is dedicated to celebrating environmental and sustainability initiatives in Romania, focusing on the theme "The Ripple Effect."

The event aims to highlight projects that have generated broader effects on the environment, rewarding companies, authorities, organizations, and leaders who have implemented local solutions with real impact. Participants can submit their projects across 11 categories of excellence, including energy efficiency, circular economy, environmental innovation, sustainable transport, environmental education, natural heritage conservation, agri-food, and resource management.

Gala Green Report has become one of the most important platforms for recognizing performance in sustainability. It was initiated by Green Report, a leading publication in Romania for 17 years on environmental and sustainability issues. The publication has organized nearly 50 conferences on environmental topics and continues to seek solutions alongside authorities, managers, entrepreneurs, NGOs, and experts.

The audience of Green Report includes European commissioners, central and local authorities, business representatives, environmental experts, trade associations, top NGOs, and the academic community. Project submissions can be made until October 31, 2026, with the registration form available at https://gala.green-report.ro/. This initiative promises to shine a light on impactful projects that contribute to a sustainable future.
