Lidl is set to open two new stores in Buzău and Craiova, creating nearly 70 jobs in these communities. This expansion not only brings new employment opportunities but also enhances the shopping landscape for local residents.

In addition to Lidl's growth, the Dutch retailer Action is also making strides by opening a new store in Chitila. This move reflects a broader trend of retailers expanding their footprints across Romania, reaching both large cities and smaller towns.

Meanwhile, a major shopping center at Piața Sudului in Bucharest is preparing to inaugurate three new stores, including well-known brands Primark, Peek&Cloppenburg, and Reserved. These additions are set to attract more shoppers and provide greater variety to the local market.

Looking ahead, the retail scene in Romania continues to flourish, with a new Auchan hypermarket scheduled to open by the end of the year. Spanning approximately 7,000 square meters, this hypermarket will further enrich the shopping experience for residents.
