Nicoleta Cerșanu takes the helm at Lebosol® România

Nicoleta Cerșanu has been appointed as the new CEO of Lebosol® România, starting from May 1, 2026. With two decades of experience in the agribusiness sector, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, particularly in fertilizers and plant nutrition.

Lebosol® România, a subsidiary of a German company known for producing foliar fertilizers, has been active in the local market since 2011. The company operates from its headquarters in Afumați, Ilfov County, and is present in over 55 countries worldwide.

Cerșanu's background is rooted in agriculture, coming from a family of vegetable growers. She also owns her own peony plantation, which reflects her deep connection to the land. "I know what it means to care for a crop and wait for the result," she remarked, highlighting her understanding of the agricultural process.

Prior to her new role, Cerșanu spent 12 years at Timac Agro România, where she served as the deputy general director for the last two years. Her decision to join Lebosol® came after visiting the company's production units in Germany, where she was impressed by their quality standards and processes. "I accepted this challenge because I saw it first with my own eyes," she stated.

Under Cerșanu's leadership, Lebosol® România aims to deepen its understanding of customer needs before offering solutions. The company boasts a portfolio catering to both conventional and organic agriculture, with 13 certified organic products. She intends to expand and structure the portfolio based on real needs, ensuring that every farmer knows they can find the right solution for their crops and budget.

Looking ahead, Cerșanu plans to accelerate the company's development in the local market while leveraging the international experience of the German parent company. "I can say that I am just at the beginning, but with a clear direction. And surprises are in preparation," she concluded, expressing her optimism for the future.
