Over 30,000 job opportunities available across Romania

Romania is experiencing a significant boost in job availability, with over 30,000 positions currently on offer. Employers across the country are actively seeking talent, providing 30,033 job openings nationwide, as reported by the National Agency for Employment (ANOFM) on September 2.

Among the available positions, the demand for road transport drivers stands out, with 3,307 vacancies. Additionally, there are 1,816 roles for couriers and 1,450 positions for unskilled workers in demolition and finishing work. The variety of job opportunities reflects a diverse labor market, including 1,164 roles for goods handlers and 1,106 openings for unskilled workers involved in breaking and cutting construction materials.

Job seekers can also find 1,029 positions for retail workers, 881 security agents, and 633 unskilled workers needed for assembly and mounting tasks. The construction sector continues to seek skilled labor, with 493 carpenters and 489 concrete ironworkers available.

Notably, over 16,000 job openings are earmarked for individuals without higher education or with primary and secondary school qualifications. For those with higher education, there are 2,040 roles available, including positions for engineers, doctors, managers, specialists, advisors, inspectors, and economists. Furthermore, 5,318 positions are suitable for high school or post-secondary graduates, encompassing roles such as general nurses, cashiers, and client relations officers.

For vocationally trained individuals, there are 6,647 job openings, including roles for drivers, welders, commercial workers, CNC machine operators, and mechanical locksmiths. This wide range of opportunities highlights the ongoing demand for both skilled and unskilled labor in various sectors throughout Romania.

In addition to local job prospects, there are 101 positions available in other European countries through the EURES Romania network. The highest number of these positions is in Norway, which offers 45 roles for workers in salmon production and processing. Other countries, including the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Germany, Malta, Slovenia, and Spain, also present various job opportunities for those looking to work abroad.
