Radio România Iași celebrates 85 years of excellence in media

Radio România Iași has been honored with the prestigious award for 'Excellence in Media,' recognizing its significant contributions over its 85 years of operation. The award was presented to manager Claudia Crăcăleanu during a ceremony held in the historic Sala 'Vasile Pogor' at the Iași City Hall.

This recognition underscores the vital role that Radio Iași plays in informing the public and promoting the cultural life of the region. The award was presented as part of the Gala Seara Valorilor, an event organized by the Iași Municipality, which brought together representatives from culture, education, journalism, and sports.

The Gala Seara Valorilor was part of the XXXV edition of the Sărbătorile Iașiului, celebrating not only Radio Iași’s achievements but also honoring various contributions across multiple fields. The municipality granted several awards to individuals and organizations for their impact in culture, education, journalism, and sports.

Looking ahead, the excitement continues as the Premiile Muzicale Radio România are set to return on November 2, taking place at the iconic Sala Radio. This event promises to further highlight the rich cultural tapestry that Radio România contributes to in Iași and beyond.
