Romania sees over 34,000 job vacancies, offering opportunities for all education levels

A remarkable 34,352 job vacancies are currently available in Romania, highlighting a diverse range of employment opportunities across various sectors. This data was shared by the National Agency for Employment (ANOFM) on Wednesday, September 23.

The demand for drivers in road transport is particularly high, with 3,848 positions waiting to be filled. Additionally, there are 1,900 job openings for goods handlers and 1,866 vacancies for couriers, showcasing the active recruitment efforts in the logistics sector.

Construction-related jobs also feature prominently, with employers seeking 1,641 workers for building demolition and 1,285 individuals for breaking and cutting construction materials. Security roles are in demand too, with 1,275 positions for security agents available.

Retail is not left behind, as there are 1,213 job openings for commercial workers. For those looking for entry-level positions, there are 693 vacancies for unskilled workers in assembly and installation, along with 675 openings for subassembly fitters and 541 for concrete reinforcement workers.

Importantly, the job market is accessible to individuals with varying educational backgrounds. A total of 18,538 positions are designated for those without formal qualifications or with only primary and lower secondary education. For those with vocational training, 7,148 positions are available, while 6,630 openings cater to high school graduates and those with post-secondary education. There are also 2,036 jobs reserved for individuals with higher education degrees, reflecting the broad spectrum of opportunities in the Romanian job market.
