Romania has successfully finalized approximately 5,000 investments under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), surpassing its initial targets. This impressive achievement includes a total of 4,976 projects, which amount to more than 20 billion lei, contributing significantly to the nation’s objectives outlined in the PNRR.

Cseke Attila, the Minister of Development, shared these encouraging developments during a recent announcement in Oradea. He emphasized the collaborative efforts between local and central authorities that made these projects possible.

In Oradea alone, all 32 investments have been completed, showcasing the city's commitment to progress. These projects feature the procurement of nine new trams and energy efficiency upgrades for 26 kindergartens and schools. Additionally, improvements have been made to the municipal pool, the maternity hospital, and the town hall.

Bihor County stands out as a leader in the number of contracts and investments executed, reflecting its proactive approach to development. As the PNRR reaches its conclusion, over 600 finalized projects will continue to receive support from the national budget, ensuring ongoing benefits for local communities.

The absorption rate for the components managed by the ministry is expected to reach approximately 108-109%, marking a significant milestone in Romania's development journey.
