Romania U17 secures a decisive 4-0 victory against Slovenia U17

Romania's U17 national team demonstrated remarkable skill and teamwork by winning 4-0 against Slovenia U17 in an impressive away match. David Loghin set the tone early by scoring just four minutes into the game, followed by Raul Matei who found the net five minutes later.

The team's performance continued to shine as Bogdan Ilie scored in the 43rd minute, solidifying Romania’s lead before Victor Oniga capped off the scoring in the 87th minute. This victory comes on the heels of a prior 5-2 win against the same Slovenian team just two days earlier, showcasing the team's readiness and determination.

Under the guidance of head coach Alexandru Ciobanu, the Romanian squad is composed of talented juniors born from 2010 onwards. The lineup included players such as goalkeeper Rareș Andrei, defenders Nicolas Ivan and David Loghin, midfielders Robert Mânzu and Raul Matei, and forwards Victor Oniga and Bogdan Ilie.

They will face the Faroe Islands and Cyprus on October 27 and November 2, with the matches set to take place in Cyprus.
