Serafima Moscalu wins bronze at Judo Grand Prix in Lima

Serafima Moscalu has proudly secured a bronze medal in the 70 kg category at the Grand Prix de judo in Lima. Her remarkable performance culminated in a decisive victory over Italian judoka Irene Pedrotti.

The competition in Peru was fierce, featuring 296 judokas from 50 countries. Of these athletes, 169 competed in the men's events, while 127 showcased their skills in the women's divisions.

Moscalu's achievement not only highlights her talent but also reflects the growing prominence of Romanian athletes on the international judo stage. This bronze medal is a testament to her hard work and dedication, marking a significant milestone in her sporting career.
