Noaptea Muzeelor la Sate aduce acces gratuit la peste 180 de muzee
Starting tomorrow, Noaptea Muzeelor la Sate will invite visitors to explore the rich cultural heritage of Romania and the Republic of Moldova through over 180 rural museums and collections, all open for free.
This unique event will showcase a variety of sites, including traditional houses, fortified churches, and ethnographic exhibitions. Notable participating museums include the Moara de hârtie in Comana, Giurgiu, the Muzeul Boierilor Veneției Făgărașului in Brașov, and the Biserica fortificată in Chirpăr.
Almost every county in Romania will have at least one participating museum, ensuring that many communities can take part in this cultural celebration. Additionally, 14 museums in the Republic of Moldova will join in the festivities, with the Muzeul Fundul Galbenei in Hîncești opening its doors for the first time.
Visitors can check the visiting hours for each location on the official website, noapteamuzeelor-la-sate.ro. Most museums will be open from 6 PM to 2 AM, allowing ample time to explore and appreciate the local heritage.
