Romania triumphs at Porec futsal tournament
Romania has emerged victorious at the Porec futsal tournament, winning all three of their matches. The national team showcased their skills with impressive performances, including a thrilling 4-3 win against Montenegro, where Crăciun scored the decisive goal in the 36th minute.
In addition to defeating Montenegro, Romania also secured a commanding 5-0 victory over Estonia and a 2-1 win against Montenegro in another match. This success has earned the team the tournament trophy, setting a positive tone as they prepare for the upcoming World Cup qualifying matches.
Looking ahead, Romania has been placed in Group 7 alongside Portugal and Denmark for the main qualifying round. Their first match will take place on October 21 against Portugal in Târgu Mureș, followed by a second match against Denmark on November 8 in Sfântu Gheorghe.
The stakes are high, as the 12 group winners will qualify for the elite round, while the four best second-placed teams will also advance.
